It’s no secret that we’re colour lovers here at Mustard.
Colour is a huge part of our brand identity. For those of you who haven’t been around very long, three years ago we launched with two products and six colours; it is safe to say we have grown quite a bit since then!
Mustard is really proud of our partnership with Beam. If you haven't heard about them already, Beam is a fantastic charity working to help get people experiencing or at risk of homelessness into stable, paid work. We donate £5 from every single order through our UK site to Beam, so far we have donated a mind-boggling £50,000! We wanted to know more about doing good in business so we chatted with founder Alex.
It's time for a super handy DIY which we have been loving!
These instructions will show you how to make a washable insert for your basket, to keep all of your little bits + pieces neatly tidied away. This DIY is great if you like to use your baskets for craft supplies or kitchen storage, because it can be easily removed to clean + it stops anything from falling out!
Over the last few months, Mustard has welcomed a few new friendly faces to our team. With Em on maternity leave and Lizzy moving into a new role, we were in need of some new Customer Happiness Heroes. Say hi to Paris in Australia and Lu in the UK! We feel so lucky to have found these two when we did and have them as part of our locker loving family.
International Women's Day is celebrated every year on 8th March. It is a day to both celebrate the achievements of women all over the world, and also recognise the continuing gender disparity in society and push for social, economic, cultural and political change. As a business owned by two women, International Women's Day felt important for us and we wanted to shout about it! We are choosing to celebrate women in business, our family, friends and wonderful team.
Last week in our blog we told you all about Wordbits and how our beautiful, colourful magnet collaboration came to be! This week, we are hearing first hand from Annabel and Shanna, founders of Wordbits, about their journey. We got the lowdown on how their practical alphabet magnets came to life.
You may have seen these little letters popping up on our Instagram feed for some time now + we are so excited to finally be able to share them with you! Say hello to Wordbits - alphabet magnets have never looked so good. Want to know more? This blog post is going to tell you everything - how we found Wordbits, who they are + everything you need to know about the new products joining the Mustard family!
There's a new addition to the Mustard family and we're a little bit obsessed - meet The Twinny! She's the locker we wished we had in our childhood bedrooms and the wardrobe of our dreams. While she took a *little* longer to arrive than we had initially hoped, we are so pleased and proud she's finally here and is making her way into your homes!
As we creepoverthe finish line of the year that will forever be etched in our collective memory as 'the year of face masks and hand sanitiser', we wanted to take a deep breath and reflect on the last 12 months.
